Full
redundancy:
The AWK-6222 provides redundancy with two
RF modules that support independent wireless
connections. In addition, its dual Ethernet
ports can be configured to provide a redundant
path to an Ethernet LAN and supports the RSTP
redundant protocol or Moxa's own proprietary
Turbo Ring. Dual DC power inputs are also
provided for power redundancy, and PoE is
added to simplify your wireless installation
in hard-to-reach outdoor locations.
Regulatory Approvals:
We test products on a regular basis to ensure
quality and operational safety. Moxa's AWK-6222
has been approved by some of the most trusted
global sources for product compliance, including:
> UL: The AWK-6222 has passed heavy industrial
EMI/EMS testing, such as EN61000-6-4 and EN61000-6-2.
> EN50155: The AWK-6222 has been tested
based on the European railway standard EN50155.
Performance standards are specified for railway
operating environments, including shock, vibration,
extended temperature range, humidity, and
many other factors.
> EN50121-4: The AWK-6222 has been tested
according to EN50121-4 standards, which specify
the principles for electromagnetic compatibility
(EMC) behavior and management to ensure EMC
at the interface between trains and railway
infrastructures. The objective is to specify
the EMC emission and immunity requirements
for railway products.
Rugged/Outdoor
Industrial Design
The IP68 metal casing
and rugged M12 connectors make the AWK-6222
robust and provide stable operation over a
wide temperature range of –40 to 75°C. The
standard package comes with a wall-mounting
kit. To offer greater mounting flexibility,
the AWK-6222 can also use pole mounting (with
optional accessory: PK-DC2DOF) or Din-Rail
mounting (with optional accessory: DK-DC50131).
