 The VPort 354 is a full motion, 4-channel MJPEG/MPEG4 video encoder designed to enhance industrial facility security. The VPort 354 provides up to 4 CIF full frame rate (NTSC: 704 x 480 @ 30 FPS and PAL: 704 x 576 @ 25 FPS) for each channel, and supports dual MJPEG/MPEG4 algorithms, which guarantees excellent video performance for IP surveillance systems. The VPort 354 is rugged and comes with many industrial features such as a -34 to 74°C wide operating temperature, built-in fiber optic Ethernet port, dual Ethernet ports for cascade and port redundancy, redundant 12/24 VDC and 24 VAC power inputs, and an IP30-rated metal housing, making the VPort 354 the perfect fit for surveillance systems in mission-critical environments.The VPort 354 supports Modbus/TCP protocol for easy integration with SCADA/HMI systems, as well as QoS and IGMP Multicast for advanced network management to ensure efficient performance of video-over-IP networks. In addition, Moxa has various integrated software solutions, such as a software development kit (VPort SDK PLUS), and network video recording software (SoftNVR and SoftDVR) available to complement the VPort 354 series for greater versatility.
