Moxa’s PT-508/510 DIN-Rail Ethernet switches are designed to operate in the harsh environment of power utility substations, and are certified to meet IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 standards. Thanks to their tough EMI immunity, -40 to 85°C operating temperature range (without fans), IP40 housing protection, compact design, and redundant features, the switches meet the specific requirements needed for power substations. Furthermore, the PT-508/510 switches support Moxa’s Turbo Chain redundant technology, which offers a highly flexible self-healing Ethernet technology solution for extremely complex power distribution networks. By using Moxa’s MXview industrial network management software, system operators can easily diagnose the health of the network, preemptively fix problems, and reduce the time spent troubleshooting large-scale power distribution networks.
