The IA261-I and IA262-I are compact industrial computing platforms supporting VGA display and Windows CE 6.0. The IA261-I comes with 4 RS-232/422/485 serial ports, while the IA262-I comes with 2 RS-232/422/485 serial ports and dual CANbus ports. Both computers come with dual Ethernet ports, 8 digital input channels, 8 digital output channels, VGA output, 2 USB hosts, and a CompactFlash socket, and are housed in a compact, IP40 protected, industrial-strength aluminum housing.

The IA261-I and IA262-I are powered by the Cirrus Logic EP9315 ARM9, 32-bit, 200 MHz RISC CPU, a powerful computing engine that supports several useful communication functions without generating much heat. 32 MB NOR Flash ROM and 128 MB SDRAM are built in, providing enough memory to run application software directly on the embedded computer.
Multiple connection options for data communication
The IA261-I and IA262-I support many types of device connections, including RS-232/422/485, CANbus (IA262-I only), and digital I/O. With dual LAN ports, they are ideal communication platforms for industrial applications that require network redundancy. Support for VGA output also makes them ideal for SCADA systems in industrial applications that require VGA and HMI features, such as manufacturing automation, production line process monitoring, and mining automation.
Wide temperature models for harsh industrial environments
In addition to the standard models, wide temperature (-40° to 75°C) versions of the IA261-I and IA262-I are available for harsh industrial automation environments.
Windows CE 6.0 pre-installed
The IA261-I and IA262-I come with Windows CE 6.0 pre-installed and support general Windows and .NET 2.0 computing environments. Programs for standard PC's that were developed using Embedded Visual C++ or Visual Studio 2005 can be easily ported to the IA261-I and IA262-I with minimal effort.
