industrial applications on the device floor, and
provides Turbo Ring Ethernet redundancy (recovery
time < 20 ms), UL 508 safety, and Level 4 ESD
protection. In addition, the NPort S8000 supports
surge protection for serial, power, and Ethernet
ports, and supports an extended -40 to 85°C operating
temperature to ensure system uptime. The NPort
S8000 is housed in a compact, DIN-Rail mountable
metal chassis, and is an ideal solution when panel
space is limited.

which covers safety requirements for industrial
control equipment.

for power, Ethernet interfaces, and serial interfaces
