New Turbo Ring firmware is available for all A-series EDS managed switches (EDS-405A, EDS-408A, EDS-505A, EDS-508A, EDS-510A, EDS-516A, EDS-518A series). For details on upgrading the firmware for your EDS switch, you can refer to the ''System File Update'' section in Chapter 3 of your updated user's manual.

Before upgrading the firmware or using the new Turbo Ring, please read the updated user's manual for your switch, along with the following release note:

The firmware update will not affect any existing functions and settings. All original configurations will be preserved, and the new Turbo Ring functions have simply been added. You may select between ''Turbo Ring'' or the new ''Turbo Ring V2'' when setting up your fault tolerant network. All switches in a ring must use the same Turbo Ring version. Do not mix ''Turbo Ring'' and ''Turbo Ring V2'' switches in the same ring.
