A new entry in Moxa's acclaimed Active Ethernet I/O series is set for release next month—the ioLogik E2260, which features six RTD temperature inputs and four digital outputs that all support Click&Go logic. It is designed to connect 2-wire and 3-wire RTD temperature sensors, such as the PT100 or PT1000, or resistance sensors up to 2200 ohms.
Like other Active Ethernet I/O servers, the ioLogik E2260 features Click&Go logic, which allows I/O event messages with time stamp to be sent according to user-specified temperature conditions. Messages can be sent by SNMP, email, or TCP/UDP text to a host computer from a remote site. A local alarm light or siren can also be connected and triggered automatically.
In addition to the six sensor inputs, the ioLogik E2260 provides six virtual input channels that indicate the running average or deviation of each of the physical temperature inputs. These virtual inputs can be used to measure the average temperature of a swimming pool, oil tank, or other facility.
Features
- 6 inputs for PT or JPT RTD sensors, or for resistance sensors up to 2200 ohms
- 6 virtual inputs for average and deviation values of attached sensors
- Adjustable RTD sampling rate up to 12 samples/sec
- Instant event reporting with time stamp by TCP, UDP, email, SNMP trap
- Patented Click&Go logic for easy local control without programming
Applications
- Swimming pool temperature monitoring
- Water tank water monitoring
- Machine room temperature monitoring
- Building security system for factory, office, or public facility
The ioLogik E2260 will be available on November 1, 2007. For additional information, please contact your sales representative.
