Taipei, Taiwan, December 13, 2007—Moxa received widespread praise during the company's second visit to the SPS/IPC/Drives exhibition in Nuremberg, held from November 27th to 29th. Visitors were clearly impressed with Moxa's complete range of products for industrial device networking and with the company's clear focus on wireless applications.
The three Moxa booths, spread through different halls, generated great interest from both existing and prospective customers. Visitors were presented with attractive displays of innovative communication solutions for industrial automation, along with a cocktail bar offering nonalcoholic beverages. The displays were arranged around themes such as Ethernet in Automation, Ethernet in Power Automation, and Embedded Computing in Automation. The Wireless in Automation theme generated the most buzz at the fair, inspiring comments such as ''It looks like Moxa are taking over the world.'' Another visitor commented, ''Moxa's presence is impressive. You are like a phoenix from the ashes.''
The overwhelmingly positive feedback confirms that Moxa has a clear sense for innovation and for the key future technologies in the market. Moxa's stature in the field was further highlighted by the fact that 21 editors from major European magazines attended the company's November 27th press conference on integrated industrial wireless solutions. Moxa's intuitive sense for industry trends is likely to be heavily featured in upcoming magazine articles.
Attendees at this year's SPS 2007 numbered around 46,000, with German visitors accounting for about 86%. About 1,300 companies exhibited and about 450 visitors participated in the congress running parallel to the fair. Coming up, Nuremberg will be hosting another major exhibition, the ''Embedded World'' show, from February 26th to 28th. Moxa is exhibiting at this show as well, at booth 126, hall 12.
