New "high temperature" serial boards endure up to
85°C

Moxa now offers PC/104 serial boards that are rated for reliable operation in temperatures between -40° and 85°C. The CA Series marks the first set of serial boards from Moxa to pass the 85°C high temperature test. Their on-board 15 KV ESD protection and 2 KV optical isolation make them an attractive alternative to similar products on the market. Optional DB9 or DB25 connection cables are available for connecting to many different devices.

The PC/104 standard defines both a form factor and a computer bus. It is intended for specialized embedded computing environments such as those in military, medical, and industrial automation applications. Moxa's CA Series of embedded serial modules are the best choice for embedded platforms, making it easy for a system designer to add serial ports to an embedded computer.
