Moxa now offers the following PC/104-Plus serial port modules for operation in extreme temperatures: the CB-108-T, CB-114-T and CB-134I-T. These modules operate in temperatures between -40 to 85°C, further establishing Moxa as an ideal source for industrial embedded systems hardware.
Many industrial PCs are now designed for operation in extreme temperatures and harsh industrial environments. The CB-108-T, CB-114-T and CB-134I-T make it easy for embedded system designers to connect multiple serial devices to an embedded computer. DB9 or DB25 connection cables are available, and the most popular operating systems for industrial applications are supported, including Windows CE 5.0 and Windows XP Embedded. The included device drivers are designed to make full use of the 128-byte Tx/Rx FIFO and on-chip hardware and software flow control, enabling data transmission at speeds up to 921.6 Kbps.
