The UC-7408 embedded computer is now available in a wide temperature model that withstands harsh industrial environments.
Industrial applications often involve harsh environmental conditions. Facilities and key devices may be located at remote locations where there is no protection from severe weather conditions. For such situations, it is crucial that devices are able to withstand a wide range of operating temperatures. The UC-7408-T is designed for operation between -40° to 75°C and provides an embedded computing solution for the following situations:
- Applications in outdoor locations including deserts and mountains, where it is difficult or costly to build a climate-controlled shelter for sensitive electronic equipment
- Applications in indoor locations, such as factory floors, where equipment must be placed near machines that generate extreme heat
- Mobile or mixed applications in harsh environments, such as in the military, where machines must operate reliably in both low and high temperatures
The following wide temperature models are scheduled for release by the end of this month:
