The V460 Series is an all-new line of x86-based embedded computers
from Moxa that offer a strong computing platform for applications
involving industrial data acquisition, data computing, and
even protocol conversion. Specific models include the V462,
V464, V466 and V468.
Multiple data connection options
Each model in the V460 Series features a rich selection
of connection interfaces, including 4 serial ports, multiple
Ethernet ports, 8 switch ports and 8+8 DI/DO channels (5 to
30V). This enables integrators to control more remote devices
with fewer controllers. Applications can thus be developed
with lower costs. 4 USB hosts as well as CompactFlash and
PCMCIA sockets are included, providing ample storage expansion.
Support for VGA output is built-in, so V460 computers can
also be used to satisfy HMI or display requirements for industrial
automation applications.
Lower power consumption
A fanless, robust hardware design helps V460 computers consume less power and generate less heat. This helps V460 computers achieve high MTBF values and ensures cost-effectiveness for industrial applications.
Ready-to-run platform
Every embedded computer offered by Moxa is pre-installed with operating system, middleware, and sample code. This provides programmers with a user-friendly environment for application development, reducing the effort required for system integration.
