Moxa's popular EDS-726 modular managed Ethernet switch will be phased out to make way for the newer EDS-728, which features the following improvements compared with the EDS-726:
- The EDS-728 supports up to 4 Gigabit ports
- The EDS-728 supports both the original Turbo Ring and new generation Turbo Ring
- The EDS-728 supports Moxa's convenient ABC-01 for saving and loading configurations (but no longer supports the CF card option)
Please note that limited quantities of the EDS-726 switch will be available until December 25, 2008. All service rules, including the product warranty, apply as usual to products that have been phased out.
