 We are proud to announce that the Windows 2008 x86 and x64 drivers for Moxa's multiport serial boards have passed WHQL certification. For over 20 years, Moxa's dedicated software team has developed a wide range of driver support for all multiport serial board products including (Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 2003 and 2008), Linux 2.4/2.6, SCO OpenServer 5/6, and even UnixWare upon special request. All new WHQL certified drivers are available now and can be downloaded from Moxa's online support center.
Moxa's multiport serial boards provide a full range of PC slot interfaces, such as PCI Express, Universal PCI, ISA, PC/104, and PC/104-Plus. The new generation of PCI Express boards released in August 2008 is specially designed with a unique 1-chip PCIe-UART solution to optimize CPU performance and to allow for a hardware design with no DIP switches or jumpers. The onboard LED indicators are useful for real-time communication diagnostics. Additionally, each RS-232/422/485 serial port supports a baudrate of up to 921.6 Kbps. Moxa's multiport serial boards also come with 2 KV optical isolation protection to prevent equipment damage.
