Wide Temperature Models of the NPort 5450 RS-232/422/485
Serial Device Servers Now Available
The NPort® 5450-T and
NPort® 5450I-T, which support an operating temperature range
of -40 to 75°C, are the newest models in the NPort 5450
series of RS-232/422/485 device servers. All NPort 5450
models provide a convenient way of connecting up to four
serial devices to an Ethernet network, and allow you to
incorporate existing serial devices to the network with
minimal configuration. Data transmissions from serial to
Ethernet interfaces are bi-directional, allowing you to
centralize the management of your serial devices, and distribute
management hosts over the network. With NPort®
device servers, your current hardware investments
are protected and at the same time, you are provisioning
for future network expansions.
