Moxa Releases Three New CAN Interface Boards

Moxa is pleased to announce the release of three CAN interface boards, a new line of products that offer engineers a wide range of CAN applications. The new CP-602E-I, CP-602U-I, and CB-602I, are 2-port CAN interface boards designed to provide host computers with CAN ports through the PCI Express, Universal PCI, or PC/104 interfaces. In addition to supporting reliable communications, these boards come with 2 KV isolation protection to shield host computers from potentially damaging electrical spikes. In addition, all three models support a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C, which makes them suitable for use in critical applications.

Moxa's CAN interface boards use SJA1000 NXP CAN controller chips and PCA82C251 transceivers to offer bus arbitration and error detection. The boards' two independent CAN communication ports ensure high-speed transmissions of up to 1 Mbps. In addition, all Moxa CAN interface boards have built-in LED lights for each port so that transmit and receive statuses are obvious and troubleshooting is quick and easy. Moxa CAN interface boards support a DLL library and the latest Windows drivers so that engineers can create their own applications with ease.
