New 4-port Embedded Managed Switch Module with 2 Fiber Ports Now Available

Moxa is extending the EOM-104 product family by releasing the new EOM-104-FO embedded managed switch module, which supports two 10/100 Mbps fast Ethernet ports, as well as two 100 Mbps Fiber ports. The EOM-104 switches are designed for device manufacturers who would like to embed an Ethernet switch module into existing products. Moxa's EOM-104 switches are ideal for industrial field site applications where the performance and reliability of connected devices can be upgraded by embedding this ultra-small switch module. With Moxa's embedded module switches, users can benefit from reduced deployment costs, fiber long-haul transmissions, lower power consumption (2 watts), extended operating temperatures of -40 to 75°C, device redundancy, and also save valuable space.

The EOM-104 is ultra-small, consumes less power, and features a standard GPIO pin connector; it is unquestionably an easy and cost-effective solution for device manufacturers to quickly transform existing devices into devices that are more intelligent and reliable.
