Rugged Unmanaged Ethernet Switches with Fiber Connectivity

Moxa has broadened its line of rugged unmanaged Ethernet switches by offering fiber connectivity. The 5-port EDS-205A fiber switch is equipped with a fiber port (multi/single-mode, SC or ST connector), and is specifically designed for long-haul transmission and electromagnetic immunity.

The EDS-205A fiber Ethernet switches are compact in size and have many important features such as redundant AC/DC power inputs, IP30-rated aluminum housing, and in addition they are DIN-Rail mountable. The EDS-205A has passed strict industry standards such as Class I/Div. 2 for process automation and DNV for maritime applications. The EDS-205A switches are a perfect match for cabinets at any field site thanks to their wide operating temperature range of -40 to 75°C and space-saving design.

 

The EDS-205A fiber models complete Moxa's EDS-205A/208A product family. Moxa provides users with superior reliability and better value for unmanaged Ethernet connections by offering the widest selection of best price-to-performance Ethernet switches on the market.
