VPort Video Gadget for Intouch and Cimplicity Now Available!
We are gratified by all the positive feedback since the July release of our video gadget, which supports Citect SCADA systems. Most of the feedback was about the video gadget's high degree of user-friendliness. In light of all the encouraging responses, we are releasing VPort ActiveX SDK PLUS Ver. 2.5.3, which has a VPort video gadget that supports Wonderware Intouch and GE Cimplicity. Overall, more than 70% of SCADA users can now benefit from Moxa's VPort video gadget!
You can obtain the VPort video gadget free of
charge from Moxa's support website (http://www.moxa.com/support/download.aspx?d_id=2114)
by downloading VPort ActiveX SDK PLUS. After
installing the software, the video gadget will
be located in a particular folder. See the VPort
video gadget user's manual for instructions
on how to install the video gadget for use with
SCADA software.
Future VPort
video gadget developments will include the introduction
of additional function objects, such as video
record, playback, and data search. These function
objects will require IP surveillance software
for video recording and data management. In
fact, a brand-new SoftNVR-IA IP surveillance
software is in the works.
