Multi-service Gateways
Moxa's VPort 700 series industrial multi-service gateway allows for seamless field-site and field-to-center communications. The Ethernet interoperability of the VPort guarantees faster response and more efficient management of a variety of field devices deployed in distributed SCADA systems, such as oil and gas, pipeline, and trackside applications that are spread over a wide area. With the VPort’s Ethernet-interface backplane, various types of video, voice, and data can be transformed into IP-packet transmissions. This way, wiring and maintenance costs are significantly reduced and deployment in space-limited control cabinets is not only possible but can also be done with ease.
