Lifetime Warranty Policy

Moxa Technologies, Inc., USA warrants that the Product (see the following definition) shall be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship from the date of delivery provided that the Product was properly installed and used. Defects, malfunctions or failures of the warranted Product caused by damage resulting from acts of God (such as floods, fire, etc.), environmental and atmospheric disturbances, other external forces such as powerline disturbances, host computer malfunction, plugging the board in under power, or incorrect cabling and damage caused by misuse, abuse and unauthorized alteration or repair are not warranted.

This warranty is limited to the repair and/or replacement, at Moxa's sole discretion, of the defective product during its warranty period. For obsolete items, Moxa reserves the right to replace said items with the current standard production model or partially refund. Customer must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number prior to returning the defective Product to Moxa for service. MOXA's Lifetime Warranty can only be obtained by registering the Product through http://www.MoxaUSA.com/ within 90 days of the original invoice date. Customer agrees to insure the Product or assume the risk of loss or damage in transit, to prepay shipping charges and to use the original shipping container or equivalent.

Effective November 1, 2004 , MOXA's Lifetime Warranty replaces all previous warranties offered across the product ranges. Products shipped before November 1, 2004 , retain their existing warranty coverage.

MOXA's Lifetime Warranty policy only applied in USA and Canada

Note: Lifetime Warranty Service only includes the following STANDARD product series.
• Multiport Serial Boards (C-xxx, CP-xxx, CI-xxx, CA-xxx series)
• Serial to Ethernet Device Servers (DE-xxx, NPORT-xxxx,CNxxxx Series)
• Industrial Ethernet Switches (EDxxxx, EDS-xxx series)

All other non-standard products (OEM/ODM) apply to the 5-year warranty.

Limitation of Liability

THE PROVISIONS OF THE WARRANTY ARE IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WRITTEN OR ORAL, AND MOXA'S LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THE MANUFACTURE, SALE OR SUPPLYING OF THE PRODUCT AND ITS USE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, PRODUCT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL COST OF THE PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT SHALL MOXA BE LIABLE FOR UNINTENDED OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFITS OR USE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE MANUFACTURE SALE OR SUPPLYING OF THE PRODUCT.
