What is a Heat Pipe?
A heat pipe is a heat transfer mechanism that combines the principles of both thermal conductivity and phase transition to efficiently transfer heat between two solid interfaces.

Heat Pipe Structure
Three fundamental components: material, capillary structure, working fluid
Airtight: to resist steam pressure buildup when working
Capillary structure: provides channels for the working liquid
Working fluid: Varies depending on the function and temperature of the heat pipe
Heat pipe: An air-tight tube, usually a long shape, containing water and capillaries on the pipe skin

Characteristics of a Heat Pipe
Average temperature placement
Lower heat resistance
Higher heat reaction
Large amount of heat conductivity
Light and tiny, lower cost for heat pipe production
Simple structure, no further process needed
No moving parts, no erosion, longer longevity
No power input required

Marine Computer Thermal Design

Three-dimensional heat dissipation and heat pipe

Benefits of our design:
Heat sources are located at the center of the computer; heat can be dissipated to three directions.
Places the heat sources at the center of the computer, and the heat pipes at the front/rear, optimizing component placement.
