  IP67 rating is difficult to achieve—even more so for a large 22-inch panel computer. An IP67-rated computer is completely protected against contact and allows now ingress of dust, and can be immersed one meter deep in water for up to 30 minutes. Obtaining IP67 rating requires a top-to-bottom design commitment to device protection.  
     
 
How Did Moxa Pass IP67?
 
 
Material selection: Silicon resin is an exceptionally firm adhesive—the molecular
coefficient is finer and the coefficient of variation is lower.
Adhesive dispensing process: It is very difficult to achieve a tight seal on a 22-inch screen. The capacity and speed of adhesive dispensing is a key consideration. Inadequate dispensing can fail to adhere properly, or affect the optical coating and color of the display. To maintain consistent quality and precision, Moxa uses precision automated dispensing equipment.
Front-side I/O waterproof design: the front-side I/O control protection of Moxa’s MPC-122-K IP67-rated marine panel computer includes dimming switch, OSD control (on screen display control), and USB.
 
 
  What is IP?  
  Ingress protection (IP) ratings are a standard for measuring the degree of protection provided by the enclosure of an electrical device.
An IP rating describes how much protection an enclosure provides against external foreign objects and water. The first digit of a mobile computer’s IP rating specifies protection from solids, and the second digit specifies protection from liquids.
