Moxa's IP surveillance products support image quality enhancement and intelligent video analysis (IVA) functions and video streaming optimization technology for optimizing video image quality in many different environments.

H.264 HD Performance

Moxa’s IP cameras use advanced image enhancement technology to provide best-in-class 720P HD resolution image quality. 3D DNR (digital noise reduction), WDR (wide dynamic range), and BLC (back light compensation) help to reduce noise and motion blur, overcome poor lighting conditions, and display images in a wide dynamic range from dark to light.

Day/Night Visibility

Moxa’s VPort 36-1MP and VPort 26 series IP cameras can be used with a variety of C/CS-mount lenses to provide flexible viewing angles and distance requirements. The cameras are also equipped with a 3.1-8 mm auto-iris lens and a removable IR cut filter to deliver true day and night visibility.

High Performance WDR for Backlit Environments

With WDR (wide dynamic range), colors are more vibrant when a single image includes both very bright and very dark regions. Most VPort IP cameras come with WDR built in, and the WDR function is fine-tuned to provide excellent performance in certain specific environments.

IVA Alarms for Smart Surveillance

With IVA (intelligent video analysis) functions and advanced image analysis algorithms, Moxa's rugged IP cameras offer quick detection for a wide variety of threats, and allow user-defined motion detection of unauthorized camera tampering. Other features include virtual fence, object counting, alert zone, missing object, and unattended object. Combined with a 24 MB pre-alarm buffer and prompt alert functions, the rugged IP camera series enables surveillance staff to quickly retrieve and review details of abnormal events from the inserted SD/SDHC card.

Moving objects:

Tracking and recognition of moving objects

Virtual Fence:

A virtual “tripwire” in the camera frame will trigger an alarm whenever motion across the line is detected.

Alert Zone:

Any motion detected inside the detection zone will trigger an alarm.

Camera Tampering:

Triggered when the camera lens is blocked, redirected, defocused, or painted.

Removed objects:

Detects when an object is removed from the frame and triggers an alarm after a user-defined time threshold

Unattended objectss:

Tracks moving objects in the camera frame and detects abnormal loitering
