Moxa’s Terminal Servers Now Pass IPv6 Ready Logo Program and Support Window 8 and Windows Server 2012

IPv6 terminal server

Taipei, Taiwan, May 31, 2013—Due to the limited addressing capability of IPv4, the world is readying for a migration to IPv6 next-generation internet protocol that support 128-bit address space for unlimited IP address. Moxa’s NPort 6000 series 232/422/485 serial secure terminal servers have passed both interoperability and conformance tests of IPv6 and received the IPv6 ready logo. These products now support IPv6/IPv4 dual stack transition structure, allowing work with original IPv4 network structure and also support the new IPv6 IP communication simultaneously. With auto IP configuration and built-in QoS tagging of IPv6 as well as secure/redundant management functions included, the NPort 6600 series is an easy-to-use, efficient, and reliable solution for use in any IPv4/IPv6 industrial network environments. Furthermore, to ensure the interoperability with any industrial system platforms, Moxa’s terminal servers offer a comprehensive set of driver/OS including latest Windows 8 support for maximum flexibility.
