Field Applications Engineer
The Field Application Engineer (FAE) serves in the role of primary pre-sales technical interface to Key Accounts within the designated sales region. As the nominated technical interface, the FAE will be responsible to co-ordinate all technical activities with the KA's and internal Moxa resources as well as being available to conduct local seminars and first level trainings on the complete product range. The FAE will be an integral part of the sales team focusing towards activities which will help to accelerate sales growth in the region through KA design-in support, general business development support to the Regional Sales Manager's (RSM), trade shows as well as local technical marketing support.
Working directly with the RSM in the designated region, the FAE will receive commercial direction from the RSM. The FAE will also support sales in the identification of new sales and project opportunities in Key Accounts. Technical direction will be provided from the TS Manager, who will also ensure that the FAE is provided with regular trainings on the complete product line. FAE will also interface with the Product Marketing Manager (PMM) on Key Account issues and be requested to provide product, competitive and market information as needed. The FAE is responsible to provide application examples as well as other local technical market related activities.
Activities include providing a regionally based technical interface to prospective and current customers for the evaluation and implementation of Moxa products in their applications, presentations, pre-sales demos, providing technical solutions, seminars and trade shows. Customer focus is directed by the RSM in coordination with the PMM based on projects / Key Accounts / Vertical Markets.
In this role, the FAE will also work both independently and collaboratively with the Technical Support, Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, and SBU teams. Post sales technical issues are escalated to TS team.

Assist the RSM in suggesting, developing, and implementing the sales strategy/regional sales plan in the assigned territory |

Be the primary technical pre-sales interface or window to the KA’s and channel partners in the region. |

Foster a win-win relationship with assigned KA’s to secure a climate of trust and mutual respect. |
|
Participate in industry events (trade shows, professional organizations). |

Be knowledgeable and proactive to feedback on new market, product, competitive information and trends. |

Write applications stories based on KA needs and support Marketing in press release generation |

| Job Requirements |
|
Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in the industrial automation or industrial networking industry. |
|
Minimum of 3 years of FAE or pre-sales technical support activities |
|
Understanding of Ethernet technology (preferably industrial network topologies) |
|
Understanding of wireless and serial connectivity technology would be an advantage |
|
Pan-European working experience. |
|
Must be able to travel extensively within the responsible territory. |
|
Ability to schedule and conduct presentations, seminars and training to large groups. |
|
Ability to communicate well with executives of Channel partners and major customers. |
|
Fluent (written and spoken) in English and a second (regional) European language. |

Technical Support Engineer
| Responsibilities |

Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to our distributors |
