Technical Support Engineer
Warehouse Supervisor
Technical Support Engineer
The Technical Support Engineer (TSE) will assist customers, distributors, integrators and internal Moxa personnel with technical questions and solutions with Moxa device networking industrial automation products. Communication is primarily via phone support and email. Problem simulation, debug and training are done on lab equipment. The TSE will also assist with sales presentations, product demonstrations and delivery of professional services. One of the main goals of the TSE is to add value to Moxa products with world class technical support to increase product sales and expand market share.
| Responsibilities |
|
Assist customers with consulting and troubleshooting issues by answering and responding to Technical Service phone calls and e-mails that range from simple presale questions to integration assistance. |
|
Document and update CRM system with problem case status and escalate to higher level support as required. Update internal technical information resources including updating Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). |
|
Occasional travel for product training and representation at industry tradeshows may also be required. |
|
Performs RMA product testing and reporting. |

| Requirements |
|
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. |
|
Two – five years of previous customer support experience or demonstrated experience in building customer relationships including the ability to multitask and serve multiple customers simultaneously. |
|
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in English. Ability to present to customers, peers, and management. |
|
Strong computer literacy including TCP/IP networking experience, 802.11 and Wireless Ethernet experience. |
|
Helpful but not required are PLC/PC based controls background, programming experience with C/C++, and Linux OS user experience. |

| Responsibilities |
|
Manage warehouse operations, materials management and inventory control. |
|
Provide strategic leadership to packaging and shipping coordinators and their associates to achieve outstanding customer service. |
|
Receive and deliver goods to appropriate locations in a timely manner. |
|
Monitor and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for receiving, shipping and warehouse management. |
|
Verify shipping charges for UPS, Fedex, DHL, trucking companies and other carriers to ensure accuracy. |

| Requirements |
|
Minimum of eight years warehouse management experience. |
|
Experience developing, managing and adhering to budgets. |
|
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project. |
