Moxa Europe has just launched the so-called German "light version" of Moxa's global website: http://de.moxa.com.

"Light version" means that some of the content, including technical support pages, accessories, datasheets, specifications, and comparison tables for over 250 products will link back to Moxa's global website to ensure access to the most accurate information at any time.

The website's main objectives complement Moxa's strategy to expand its presence in Europe. The website should help build awareness of the European organization in the main local markets and increase German customers' awareness of local product promotions, services, and specials.

The website enables Moxa Europe to distribute information to customers and the local media by automation of local inquiries, online information, and downloads, such as press releases and success stories, saving both time and effort. Moreover, local events can be presented and managed through promotions and easy online registration.

The website will also assist with gathering market research by collecting information on customers through analysis of site usage statistics and online surveys.

Moxa's German language website is only one part of a much larger effort. The next step is the launch of the French website, which is scheduled to go live before the end of 2009.

Currently, Moxa Europe has two offices, one in Unterschleissheim near Munich, Germany, and one in Paris, France. The plan is to expand the number of offices in Europe gradually over the next three to five years.
