Live-view topology for easy management
MXview is a user-friendly network management software solution that uses a live-view topology map to perform network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. The software can automatically discover and draw SNMP/ICMP compliant networked devices on physical topology maps with a maximum capacity of 1000 devices. Topology maps can be structured into two layers for flexible device grouping and management. The live-view topology map and historic event database helps network administrators check the health of the network, and quickly identify problems when troubleshooting. These management functions are available anytime, anywhere via web browsers such as Internet Explorer and Firefox.
Reliable real-time event notification
MXview makes it easy and efficient to manage real-time event messages, traffic status, network infrastructure, and device status. The newly-added SNMP inform server increases networking reliability with complete event logs and notification assurance. Another new feature, the OPC 2.0 server, lets third party OPC clients such as HMI/SCADA systems get easy access for real-time data exchange.
Designed for industrial use
MXview scans and plots all networked devices in physical topology maps that accurately represent the status and connections of each device. The physical topology map can highlight problem devices with different colors or icons for quick identification and event handling. In addition, MXview allows automatic backup of device configurations and user-selectable rollback, as well as remote deployment of device configuration and firmware maintenance. Engineers can easily monitor network traffic without worrying about messing up the device status or network connectivity.
