Introduction

Moxa's CB-602I CAN (Controller Area Network) interface boards support the PC/104-Plus interface and feature an FPGA-based CAN controller with support for both Classical CAN and CAN FD communication. The FPGA architecture provides design flexibility, long-term maintainability, and high-performance CAN communication while maintaining backward compatibility with existing CAN networks. The boards incorporate the TCAN1044A CAN FD transceiver to provide a robust physical layer for reliable CAN/CAN FD communication. With 2 kV isolation and a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C (CB-602I-T only), the boards are well suited for deployment in harsh industrial environments.
