Moxa’s Commitment to CRA Compliance
All products with digital elements placed on the EU market must meet mandatory cybersecurity requirements outlined in the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), defined by Regulation (EU) 2024/2847. This regulation seeks to integrate cybersecurity throughout a product’s life cycle and incorporate it into the framework for CE marking. Compliance will help customers and businesses identify secure products and ensure security updates and vulnerability management.
As a leading industrial networking solution provider with 35 years of experience, we have been committed to cybersecurity practices and were among the first leading providers to obtain the IEC 62443-4-1 certification. We are extending our product security management processes to meet the essential cybersecurity requirements* under the CRA and are closely monitoring the development of harmonized European standards (hEN). By working within European standards, collaborating with leading experts and accredited laboratories that are preparing for CRA testing, and being committed to CRA compliance, we establish ourselves as industry leaders in automation while prioritizing cybersecurity.
*As set out in Part I of Annex I, cybersecurity requirements relating to the properties of products with digital elements, and in Part II of Annex I, vulnerability handling requirements.
