Connecting All of your Things to the Internet

Preparing for the Industrial IoT Era

Let’s suppose you have several devices in your factory, all serial-based, that you’d like to connect to your factory network to monitor the status of the devices remotely. Connecting serial devices to an Ethernet network is easier than ever with Moxa’s NPort brand of serial-to-Ethernet device servers. However, that’s not the end of the story. Moxa’s NPorts offer three commonly used operation modes that can get you up and running in no time.

Industrial IoT accessibility with IT-friendly tools

Moxa’s NPort device servers offer web console for configuration, and support SNMP, which allows your IT engineers to use the same network management tool to monitor each of your connected devices remotely. NPort device servers make it possible for IT engineers to easily check asset health to mitigate the risks inherent in configuring certain system, network, and configuration events. Automatic notifications can be sent via email or SNMP Trap, depending on the type of event.
