Accessible IP Settings allows you to add remote host IP addresses to prevent unauthorized access. If you enable the function then only the IP address or IP group (subnet) could access NPort 5000 series in any operation mode (Real COM/TCP/UDP mode).

  • Only one host with a specific IP address can access the NPort 5000 series
    "IP address/255.255.255.255" (e.g., "192.168.1.1/255.255.255.255").
  • Hosts on a specific subnet can access the NPort 5000 series
    "IP address/255.255.255.0" (e.g., "192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0").
  • Any host can access the NPort 5000 series
Disable this function by un-select the "Enable" in the Accessible IP list.
