After users have performed the initial configuration of the EDR-810 Series, we suggest that they configure the advanced security settings to enhance the security of the EDR-810 Series:
- Enable the “Trust Access” function to ensure only authorized computers can retrieve information using MXconfig or other tools via the “Search” command.
- If users are not using Moxa utility tools such as MXconfig or other software utilities, users can disable the “Moxa Utility” management interface capability in the device after performing the initial configuration.
