Realize Ultra Reliable Station-level Connectivity in Power Substations with PT-7528 Switch

Taipei, Taiwan, Jun 13, 2012—Moxa is pleased to unveil the PT-7528 rackmount Ethernet switches, the newest PowerTrans switches designed for power substations. With IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 certifications, modular design, and high copper port density, the PT-7528 is the best fit for station-level deployments in power substations.

The PT-7528 series is a 28-port modular managed rackmount switch with 24 fixed 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 copper ports. To offer higher deployment flexibility, the PT-7528 works with PM-7500 series modules, which allow users to add up to 4 fiber ports that are dedicated to upstream or backbone connectivity, and are popular deployment for bay-level communication. In addition, IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 standards compliance combine with advanced Layer 3 management, giving the PT-7528 the environmental endurance and network capabilities needed to excel in power substation applications.
