NPort 5600 Series Cryptographic Algorithm Security Enhancements

NPort 5600 Series has enhanced its cryptographic algorithms, including cryptographic key and cipher suites.

Security Enhancements

  1. Cryptographic Key
    Increases the RSA key length from 1024 to 2048.
  2. Static Key Ciphers
    Removes medium strength cipher suites TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA and TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256.
  3. Strong Cipher Algorithms
    Uses strong cipher suites ECDHE-RSA-AES128-SHA256 and ECDHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256.

It is important to note that VPNs may have vulnerabilities and should be kept up to date with the latest available version. Remember that the security of a VPN depends on the security of its connected devices.
