World’s First Native PRP/HSR Computer DA-8200 Rackmount Industrial Computer

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Brea, California, August 25, 2014—Moxa is pleased to announce the launch the DA-820 series of Quad core i7 high performance rackmount computers. The DA-820 rackmount embedded computers are the world’s first native PRP/HSR management servers with slot-in PRP/HSR expansion module that provides bumpless redundancy, enabling efficient, visualized PRP/HSR network management.

Multi-Function Substation Computer

The DA-820’s main operating system runs on the lntel Quad core i7-3612QE CPU and QM77 chipset, which supports standard X86, VGA x 2, USB, 2 Gigabit LAN ports, and 2 RS-232/422/485 3-in-1 serial ports. The DA-820 is equipped with a 4 SATA disk interface and by default supports RAID 0/1/5/10 functionality. In addition, the DA-820 is specifically designed for substation applications that require precise time synchronization and compliance with IEC 61850-3 standards. The DA-820’s flexible design makes it suitable for local SCADA, environmental monitoring, video surveillance, protocol conversion, and PRP/HSR redundancy applications. In addition, the DA-820’s cyber security function it an ideal solution for enabling secure network communications.
