MGate™ EIP3000シリーズは、Allen Bradley PLCをEtherNet/IPネットワークに接続する必要があるユーザー向けに、EtherNet/IP - DF1間のプロトコル変換を提供します。多くの革新的な機能により、MGate™シリーズは従来のシリアルデバイスとSCADAソフトウェア間の接続における課題を克服します。1ポートと2ポートのゲートウェイが用意されており、異なる規模の制御ネットワークに対応できます。

 

DF1とEtherNet/IP間のプロトコル変換

CIP上のPCCCオブジェクトをサポートすることにより、MGate™ EIP3000シリーズはRSLinxなどのSCADAソフトウェアとシームレスに通信できます。EtherNet/IPベースの制御ソフトウェアを開発するユーザー向けに、MGate EIP3000シリーズは接続用の標準インターフェースを提供します。

 

複数のEtherNet/IP接続のサポート

MGate™ EIP3000シリーズは、最大16組のEtherNet/IPクライアントおよびサーバー接続を同時にサポートします。各クライアントは一度に最大16のリクエストを送信でき、複数接続機能により、より複雑な制御システムの冗長性を確立するのに役立ちます。

 

Windowsユーティリティによる簡単な設定とトラフィック監視

Moxaは、多言語対応の使いやすいWindowsユーティリティを提供しています。このユーティリティは、EtherNet/IPとDF1プロトコルのトラフィック監視機能をサポートしており、ゲートウェイが発行したイベントをログに記録するだけでなく、ゲートウェイを通過するすべてのコマンドとレスポンスも記録します。このユーティリティは、ユーザーが障害の根本原因やパフォーマンスボトルネックを特定するのに役立ちます。

 

 

 

シリアルリダイレクタ機能による元のマスター/スレーブ接続の維持

シリアルリダイレクタ機能により、シリアルマスター（コマンド発行元）のコマンドを別のポート上のシリアルスレーブ（コマンド実行側）に リダイレクトします。さらに、シリアルマスターはDF1アーキテクチャやソフトウェアを変更することなく、EtherNet/IPマスターと同時に動作できます。シリアルリダイレクタ機能により、MGate™ EIP3000シリーズは、当初単一のシリアルマスターによって制御されるように設計されたレガシースレーブデバイスに対し、冗長制御を確立できます。

 

ProCOMによるCOMポートマッピングを介した制御の実装

各MGate™ EIP3000ゲートウェイは、リモートPC用の仮想シリアルポートをサポートしています。MoxaのReal COMドライバを使用してCOMポート経由でMGate™ EIP3000ゲートウェイに接続でき、実際の物理接続はイーサネットを介して行われます。このゲートウェイは最大4つの仮想COMポート接続をサポートしており、冗長制御システムを設計する際の柔軟性を高めます。

 

プルアップ/ダウン抵抗とターミネータの選択

シリアル信号の反射を防止するために、終端抵抗を使用する場合、プルアップ/ダウン抵抗を適切に設定し、電気信号が破損しないようにすることは重要です。すべての環境に汎用的に適合する抵抗値のセットは存在しないため、EIP3000シリーズは底面パネルに終端とプルアップ/ダウン抵抗値を設定するためのDIPスイッチを備えています。

 

内蔵絶縁

大電流デバイスを組み込んだ複雑なデバイスネットワークは、放電、磁気ノイズ、またはコモンモード過渡現象による電気信号の歪みを受ける可能性があります。MGate™シリーズ製品は、内蔵された光絶縁（オプティカル・アイソレーション）を採用することで、この問題を解決します。
